APPLICATION

The NeiG soil protection fence coir 200 is used as a support fence for securing the topsoil on slopes. It allows for a rational, cost-effective, yet efficient and season-independent slope reinforcement. It offers high stability and tear resistance while being lightweight for transport and having a low volume. The installation can be done in diagonal, parallel, or diamond-shaped configurations.

To install, wooden stakes or steel rods are driven vertically and securely into the slope at regular intervals, corresponding to the fabric band height.

The NeiG Slope Band Coconut 200 is attached to the slope side of the stakes (or steel rods) and nailed to both the top and bottom edges of the fabric band on the stakes (e.g., with wire staples or tacks) or secured to the steel rods with tie wire.

The NeiG Slope Band Coconut 200 is used for slopes with a gradient of approximately 30° to 50°. Depending on the type of installation and the slope gradient, the fence row spacing should be between 1.50 m and 3.0 m. For stake/steel rod spacing, we recommend a gap of 33 – 50 cm.
