100%
BIODEGRADABLE

Our erosion control fabrics are 100% biodegradable and, compared to blankets, offer enhanced protection for highly erosion-prone soils and steeper banks against wind and rainfall.

The NeiG erosion control geotextiles are made from two threads, referred to as warp and weft. You can choose between the jute version for gentler slopes or the more durable and long-lasting coir fiber variant for steeper inclines.

Additionally, we are proud to introduce the newly patented Tekss7, a technical erosion control solution where coir fibers are interwoven with stainless steel wire. This innovative design guarantees unmatched stability and durability while remaining 100% biodegradable!

We also offer geotextile tape fabrics and ultra-coarse geogrids for additional and specialized requirements. Feel free to contact us for more details—no obligation!

JUTE
FABRIC

The NeiG Erosion Control Geotextile Jute 500 reduces the erosive effect of rainwater while simultaneously enhancing the soil's water retention capacity.

This improves the microclimate and promotes the faster germination of seeds. The necessary water supply can be supported by the NeiG Erosion Control Geotextile Jute 500, even during problematic development phases, such as dry periods or after germination.

Our NeiG Erosion Control Fabric Jute 500 is made from 100% untreated jute yarn, making it fully biodegradable. It is suitable for lightly erosion-prone areas with a slope of up to 1:2.7 (< 20° slope angle). Depending on the specific site conditions, its functional lifespan can last up to 12 months or one vegetation period.

COIR
FABRIC

Geotextiles made from the natural product coconut fiber are very stable and durable. With varying surface weights, they provide particularly suitable options for surface erosion control.

The NeiG Erosion Control Fabric made from coir is recommended when establishing the desired vegetation takes more than one growing season. It is particularly advantageous for construction projects on steep, exposed, and highly erosion-prone areas, as well as along the shores of standing and flowing waters.

The NeiG Erosion Control Fabric from coconut is made of 100% pure coconut twine and is chemically untreated, making it fully biodegradable without residues.

Coconut fibers, due to their high lignin content, are among the slow-degrading natural fibers. The geotextile is suitable for moderately and highly erosion-prone areas with slopes ranging from 10° to 70° (1:5.7 to 1:0.5 slope ratio). Depending on specific site conditions, the fabric’s service life can range from 3 to 5 years, and it also has very high tensile strength.

NEW: COIR AND
STAINLESS STEEL

This patented geotextile takes surface erosion control in transportation infrastructure construction to a whole new level.

With the new NeiG Erosion Control Geotextile Tekss7, erosion protection becomes more technical. Through a unique process, an additional stainless steel wire is incorporated, making this geotextile permanently durable.

The tensile strength is increased to over 33 kN/m according to DIN EN ISO 10319, ensuring a lasting surface stabilization of the developed plant cover. No plastics are released into the environment at the end of its life cycle, keeping our watercourses free from microplastics.

This is the ideal textile product for reclamation and bioengineering measures, particularly when it comes to nature and species protection combined with a permanently stabilized structure in the root zone.

The new NeiG Tekss7 is used wherever durability is crucial. In hydraulic engineering, the permanent stainless steel wire stabilizes the root zone after the natural fibers have decomposed. Dikes and embankments are secured within the vegetation layer.

SOIL
PROTECTION FENCE

The NeiG soil protection fence Coir 200 is used as a support fence for securing surface soils and is classified as a building material made from renewable resources.
It consists of a coir fabric in band form, with coconut two-ply yarn in both the warp and weft directions, and a plain weave with a strong selvage. Four threads in the warp direction form the structure, with open spaces in between to allow for water drainage. It offers high stability and tear resistance, while maintaining low transport weight and compact volume.

The NeiG Slope Band Coconut 200 is suitable for all conventional installation methods, such as diagonal, parallel, and diamond-shaped reinforcement.

WOVEN
GEOTEXTILE

With the PLA 130 ribbon fabric or woven geotextile, troublesome weed pulling for you and your customers could soon be a thing of the past.

The NeiG PLA 130 woven geotextile is made from 100% Poly Lactic Acid (PLA) fibers. It is a brown needle-punched nonwoven fabric with a one-sided calendaring finish. This fabric is made from 100% renewable raw material and is also 100% biodegradable.

With the NeiG PLA 130 ribbon fabric made from polylactic acid, you can sustainably and environmentally friendly tackle unwanted weeds.
