Gabions are a tried-and-tested and visually appealing construction system, used for building retaining walls as well as noise and privacy barriers in road construction. The wire baskets are filled with natural stones.

Gabion walls are flexible and can be assembled in a modular system, allowing them to be constructed as highly load-bearing structures. Due to their environmentally friendly and durable nature, they offer a cost-effective alternative to traditional concrete or prefab walls.

Once primarily used in landscape construction, gabions are now increasingly found in private garden design. With their clean lines, gabions complement modern homes and can be beautifully combined with other design elements such as light, water, and planting in the garden—used as property fencing, stone fences, privacy screens, raised beds, or slope retention systems.
